In 2008 the RACC conducted a study of the tasks and knowledge areas needed for the profession of research and sponsored programs administration.  Aided by the Professional Testing Corporation, the study was used to validate the weightings and content of the body of knowledge upon which the Certified Research Administrator (CRA) examination is based.  The results also provide a snapshot of the demographics of those in the profession.
